Since Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined the Los Angeles Clippers, the fortunes of the franchise have somewhat changed. They are yet to even make an appearance in the NBA Finals, but they have at least reached the Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history behind the heroics of PG13 and the Klaw.

Following that successful playoff run in the 2020-21 playoffs, most expected the Clippers to follow it up with an even better postseason run in the 2021-22 NBA season. Unfortunately, the Clippers’ season was ruined due to injuries to their superstar duo.

On a positive note, both Kawhi and George are currently healthy. Additionally, the franchise has also added a third superstar to the roster in John Wall. Wall may not be the player that he once was, but his presence has certainly boosted the Clippers’ chances of winning the title.

So much so that former NBA player Derek Fisher believes the Clippers will get to the NBA Finals before their iconic neighbors in Los Angeles Lakers. Adding to the good news is the fact that their superstar Kawhi Leonard looks in great shape.

In fact, the Clippers recently posted a hype video before the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, and in the clip, you can hear Paul George praising his all-star teammate.

“He looks in mid-season form which is a scary sight.”

The chances of the Clippers succeeding in making the NBA Finals or winning the title highly depend on how well Kawhi Leonard plays for the team.

When he’s healthy, he is one of the best players on the planet. But the question remains: Can Kawhi stay healthy throughout the season? Well, if he can, the Clippers really have a chance at winning it all this season.
