The Portland Trail Blazers keep making moves ahead of the 2022 trade deadline. After shipping away CJ McCollum, Norman Powell, Robert Covington, and more players, the team is acquiring a veteran shooter in a 3-team deal.

It was reported that the Blazers were trying to create salary-cap space for the offseason, and added an ending contract with their latest move. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Portland has acquired Utah Jazz’s fan-favorite Joe Ingles in a massive trade that includes both the San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz.

The Jazz acquire Nickeil Alexander-Walker from Portland and Juancho Hernangomez from San Antonio. The Spurs receive Tomas Satoransky and a second-rounder in the deal.

The Utah Jazz are acquiring guard Portland’s Nickeil Alexander-Walker and the Spurs’ Juancho Hernangomez in a three-way deal, sources tell ESPN. The Spurs gets guard Tomas Satoransky and a second-round pick, and the Blazers get Joe Ingles, Elijah Hughes and a second-round pick.

The Jazz are sending out the two second-round picks in the deal, sources tell ESPN. Alexander-Walker, 23, has the chance to make an impact on the Jazz’s bench and assuredly will benefit in Utah’s development system. Averaged 13 points for Pels and will be a part of rotation.

Woj clarifies that Ingles could return to the Jazz this offseason. His current deal is up once the summer hits, and Utah could make a move for one of their most iconic players in recent times.

The Blazers keep their plan, trying to have good money ahead of the upcoming offseason. Ingles won’t play for them since he suffered a season-ending injury, but the door isn’t closed on a potential return to the squad.
