The back-and-forth between Spencer Dinwiddie and Kyle Kuzma is getting even more heated, as the former teammates have had a lot to say recently.

Dinwiddie took another shot at Kuzma today by dismissing his contributions to the 2020 Lakers’ title run as what Rick Fox did for the Shaq-Kobe Lakers. Naturally, Fox wasn’t happy to see this and responded on Twitter.

“Hello, Spencer Dinwiddie. #NiceToMeetYou… This is a photo of the 3 Captains that Phil Jackson chose to lead his Lakers Teams to Back2Back2Back Championships. Who is Rick Fox? I AM #TheOther #TheEnforcer. KEYS: #DefenseWinsChampionships”

Fox was a very solid option for the Lakers on the wing and was a terrific defender. In today’s NBA, Fox would be the ideal 3-and-D forward, possibly getting $100 million contracts for the way he could produce.

He happily took the backseat to Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant and let them dominate while performing his role as the glue guy on one of the best dynasties of all time.

Spencer Dinwiddie And Kyle Kuzma Need To Stop

The arguments between the pair have gotten pointless. They are both over a year removed from their time as teammates in Washington. While Kuzma hasn’t been to the playoffs since Dinwiddie is heading to the playoffs with the Nets after making the Conference Finals with Dallas last season as well.

Kuzma is bound to get a big contract in the summer and pick a team where he can contribute to winning. Ultimately, both players may be out of Washington and can simply put their feud behind them. Kuzma is a former champion that can contribute to more contending teams while Dinwiddie has proven himself as a third or fourth option on a playoff team. Both have thriving careers and should take pride in that.

Dinwiddie averaged 17.3 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.4 rebounds this season while Kuzma averaged 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.
