After Paul Pierce stated he had a crush on Rubi Rose, the rapper shared a number and told him to text her.

Paul Pierce recently claimed he has a crush on rapper Rubi Rose, and in response, the 26-year-old shared a phone number on X and asked him to text her.

“Text me then 4046899173.”

While we have no idea whether Pierce texted on that number, many fans of Rose’s sure did. I’m not sure what they were expecting, as it obviously turned out not to be her personal number, but the one she has on Laylo. It is a CRM platform that artists use to engage with their fanbase. Laylo sends texts to update them on merchandise, tickets, content, and things of that nature.

So, it is safe to say this is a case of unrequited love for Pierce. The Boston Celtics legend has seemingly been single for a while now, having gone through two divorces. It appeared he hadn’t gotten into any serious relationships after that, with Pierce introducing an escort as his girlfriend for a day to Kevin Garnett.

When you consider that incident and some of the other antics we have seen from Pierce in the past, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that he openly called Rose his crush.

An NBA Fan Had Roasted Paul Pierce For Saying He Has A Crush On Rubi Rose

Paul’s initial comment on having a crush on Rose drew a lot of reactions from NBA fans as you might imagine. One reaction, in particular, stood out, as a fan roasted Pierce for saying he has a crush on Rose despite currently being older than his jersey number during his time in the NBA.

The 46-year-old wore No. 34 during his NBA career and the fan’s roast went viral. While it seemed light-hearted, Pierce was offended by it and responded by calling the individual ugly.

The fan then brutally responded by stating that what was ugly was him not responding to Draymond Green’s infamous trash-talk when he told Pierce he wasn’t beloved like Kobe Bryant. It just wasn’t a great 24 hours or so for the 10-time All-Star and Hall of Famer.

Brandon Miller Picked Rubi Rose As The Celebrity He’d Want To Go On A Date With

Pierce is far from the only one in the NBA world who has an interest in Rose. Prior to the 2023 NBA Draft, the prospects were asked which celebrity they’d like to take on a date. Scoot Henderson chose Zendaya, Victor Wembanyama picked his mother over any celebrity, and Brandon Miller went with Rose. When you’re as successful and popular as she is, it isn’t surprising that so many men are drawn toward her.

Rose first gained fame as the main model for Migos’ music video for the single “Bad and Boujee” in 2016. Her music career began in 2018 and in 2019, she released her debut single, “Big Mouth” which gained a lot of traction. She has gone from strength to strength since then and earlier this year in October, released another single, “Hood B**** Aesthetic”.

It is unclear if she is romantically involved with anyone at the moment. Earlier this year, Rose was dating fellow rapper French Montana, but rumors later surfaced that she was in a relationship with stylist Dyeland London. Rose certainly would be spoilt for choice if she isn’t dating at the moment.
