Shannon Sharpe Completely Roasts The Cleveland Cavaliers: “They Were Garbage Bron’s Years In Miami And Now His 4 Yrs In L.A.”

The success of the Cleveland Cavaliers has been the direct result of a single man: LeBron James. If not for his tenure with the organization, Cleveland would have practically nothing to show for their 50+ years of existence — and this fact is not a secret for the community.

Even now, as LeBron is winning titles in L.A., the Cavs are among the worst teams in the East and have been since he left. Without the King, they’ve looked like a lost, hopeless mess of a franchise.

On Twitter, FOX Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe roasted the organization in a mini-rant:

Cavs were garbage Bron’s years in Miami and now his 4 yrs in LA.

Couldn’t make the playoffs b4 or since Bron.

Love did provide 8pts 7 rbs in the Warriors series when Cavs won the Chip.

Sharpe, a notorious LeBron supporter, is always using his platform to defend the Lakers superstar.

For years, he has helped dispel negative narratives as he continues to make a case for LeBron as the GOAT.

Perhaps the biggest gripe from the critics is LeBron’s apparent love for building and joining superteams. And, in 2021, he will have the chance to play with another.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers continue their rebuild. Since the departure of Kyrie Irving, and then LeBron the following summer, they have been searching for a path back to the top.

Neither Collin Sexton nor Darius Garland seems to be their guy just yet. In fact, many are questioning whether they’ll find their guy at all.

Poor management decisions and a low market destination don’t make things easy for Cleveland, and they are seemingly always in their own way.

Nevertheless, they have a plan to improve.

The Cavs are also engaging teams in trade discussions surrounding guard Collin Sexton and hope to move Kevin Love and his remaining $60 million elsewhere, per sources.

We will see soon enough where their plans take them. But, at this point, the Cavs haven’t been able to do much without the powers of LeBron James.

And until they do, Shannon Sharpe and others like him will continue to point out their misfortunes.
