Shaquille O’Neal Says The Clippers Must Trade Paul George To Win An NBA Title: “I Don’t Want Kawhi To Delegate.”

The LA Clippers are still coming to terms with the way their season ended. With, arguably, the best roster in the league and two of the best players in the game together, nobody could have predicted they’d be bounced in the second-round after blowing their 3-1 series lead to the Nuggets.

Unfortunately, that is the reality they face and according to multiple sources, this offseason will be one of great change for the franchise.

According to Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal, those changes should include LA’s secondary star, Paul George.

Shaq: [The Clippers] gotta get rid of someone.

Co-host: Who?Shaq: C’mon, bro.

Co-host: Pandemic P? They ain’t gonna get rid of him, they gave up the farm for him.

Shaq: Well, guess what? They gave up the farm, but we can change some crops on that mug. You gotta use [George] to get 2 good solid players because I need Kawhi [Leonard] to be the man. See Kawhi, I don’t want Kawhi to delegate. See, when Kawhi was with Toronto he knew he was the man, everybody knew he was the man. Now you got one guy that thinks he’s the man, one guy that is the man.”

Kawhi Leonard is the de-facto leader of the team and we’ve seen how far his talent can go. Between that and new head coach Ty Lue having taken over the reins from Doc, the hope is that this team has what it needs to push over the edge and redeem their disappointing run in 2019-20,.

As for George, we can expect his names to continue to surface in rumors all throughout the offseason. As the second star on a max deal, PG13 has yet to live up to his expectations in Los Angeles and Steve Ballmer appears to be running out of patience.

The 30-year-old swingman averaged 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game on 43.9% shooting this past season.
