LeBron James Will Be The Highest Rated Player In NBA 2K21 With A 98 Overall Rating

2 Min Read

LeBron James’ streak of being NBA 2K’s highest-rated player will continue in the series’ latest installment, set for release on the next-generation console on November 12th.

LeBron James has been either first or tied for first in every NBA 2K game since the release of 2K11 in October 2010 and hasn’t been rated lower than 94 overall since 2K7.

LeBron, who will turn 36 in December, is coming off one of his most impressive seasons as a pro. He was second in MVP voting with averages of 25.3 points, 10.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds on 49.3% shooting. He was also named as the Finals MVP for the fourth time in his career as he secured his fourth NBA Championship.

LeBron sustained a degree of longevity that no player in league history has replicated. For nearly two decades, James has dominated the game of basketball and has led his team to the Finals 10 times.

Questions continue to circulate about how long he can continue this level of play. When will his decline start? When will his battle against Father Time finally end?

We’ll have to wait to discover those answers but, for now, we’ll have to settle with watching greatness at a level never-before-seen.
