LeBron James was on fire from the three-point line during the Los Angeles Lakers’ recent battle against the Utah Jazz. James contributed 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists while shooting 8-14 from the three-point line in the 128-117 win.
When James knocked down his eighth three-pointer of the night, he crowned himself with an imaginary crown. NBA analyst Skip Bayless certainly didn’t like LeBron’s celebration and slammed him for it.
“LOLOLOLOL: LeBron puts an imaginary crown on his head after hitting his 8th three in 14 tries to hold off Utah without its best three players. All season LeBron has been an embarrassment from 3 – one of the NBA’s worst 3-point shooters. Just pathetic. King of what? LeBricks???”

LeBron James shot just 32.1% from deep during the 2022-23 NBA season, which makes him one of the worst three-point shooters in the league. But that doesn’t take away what James did against the Utah Jazz from him.

He had a sensational game and wanted to finish it off with his iconic celebration. Most fans loved James’ celebration, but Bayless certainly didn’t. To be honest, it’s nothing new, as Skip has made a career for himself by spewing hate toward the King.
LeBron James Is Satisfied With The Los Angeles Lakers’ Performance This Season
The Los Angeles Lakers finished the 2022-23 NBA season as the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 43-29 record. They turned their season around after a 2-10 start.
LeBron James knows how great the Lakers have played this season. Keeping that in mind, James had a touching message for the team after clinching the seventh seed in the conference.
“I love my teammates. I fell in love with them even more when I was not playing… put in a lot of hours trying to fast-track me getting back on the floor… It’s great to be around a good group. Good energy, and we feed off each other. Hopefully, we keep this going.”
The job is not over for the Purple and Gold. They are all set to face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in tournament on Tuesday night.
But considering the Lakers are riding high on finishing the regular season with a win, they will enter the game as the favorites to clinch the playoffs.
