Skip Bayless Is Happy Because Of LeBron James’ Elimination: “Somewhere, Michael Jordan Is Chuckling.”

2 Min Read

If you know Skip Bayless’ thoughts about LeBron James, you know he was happy to see the King losing to the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of their first-round playoffs series.

Even with James’ significant effort to keep the Los Angeles Lakers’ season alive, the Suns were too much for the purple and gold, eliminating them in six games. This series meant the first time LeBron lost in the first round of the postseason, and Bayless didn’t miss his chance to diss the King.

First, he brought up Michael Jordan’s name, claiming that His Airness would be chuckling knowing that Bron couldn’t lift his Lakers over the Suns.

Moreover, he mocked James for not keeping up with Jae Crowder. The Phoenix Suns big man had a terrific game, sinking 3s at pleasure, including the dagger that gave his team the win to close out this series.

Before Game 5, Bayless claimed LeBron was entering the most important game of his career. However, he failed to win these two matches, and his Lakers were eliminated, clearing the way for the analyst to destroy him.

Next season, the King will try to get his revenge, just like he did in 2020. Those who laughed at him for failing to win back-to-back titles will serve as inspiration for LeBron for the 2021/22 season.
