Skip Bayless Responds To Kevin Durant’s ‘I Really Don’t Like You’ Tweet: “He Needs To Motivate Himself By Creating Some Sort Of Controversy And Feud With Media Members, Especially Those Who Love Him.”

After Kevin Durant rejected all the good comments towards him, Skip Bayless looked bad since his favorite player turned against him (if he ever was on his side), admitting he didn’t like the controversial analyst on social media

KD sent a viral tweet, and NBA fans didn’t miss their chance to blast Bayless, one of LeBron James’ biggest haters around the media world. Everybody wondered what Bayless would say after Durant flamed him on Twitter. Nevertheless, it doesn’t seem like the FS1’s talent was affected by that.

On Thursday’s edition of Undisputed, Bayless reacted to the tweet, claiming that this is a strategy of Durant to fuel his competitiveness and dominate games, just like Michael Jordan did back in the day.

“When I first heard of this, I laughed, and then I laughed some more because Kevin Durant has tried to do this to me several times before, dating back to 2012. And this time, I’m sorry Kevin, I’m not gonna take your bait, I’m not gonna fall into the trap you want me to fall into, because this is what you need and what you want. What have I said about Kevin Durant from the start? He can be strange off the court, especially on social media, where he’s had burner accounts before, as he is great on the court.

“This weird strategy of Kevin is Jordan-esque. Because, what do we know about Michael Jeffrey Jordan? He constantly fabricated beef with rival players and coaches that didn’t even exist put himself into a competitive frenzy before games. That’s what’s operating here with Kevin. What did I learn about him in 2012 when he took his first shot at me? That he needs to motivate himself by creating some sort of controversy, feud with media members, especially those who actually love him. I say nothing negative about him except the off the court, bizarre, strange social media behavior,” Bayless said.

Bayless explained that this happened when KD dominated LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in back-to-back NBA Finals, having impressive performances at the Quicken Loans Arena, showing no mercy against the Cavs.

Unsurprisingly, he took credit for pushing Durant, a player who mostly thinks about playing basketball. It’s crazy to think he needs any extra motivation to destroy opponents. It doesn’t seem like KD is changing his mind about Skip anytime soon, but the analyst seems to be fine with that.
