When he’s not dishing out scorching hot takes on his hit show ‘Undisputed,’ FOX Sports analyst Skip Bayless is in the gym doing whatever he can to keep his body in premium condition.

Bayless turned 70 last year and, despite decades of hard work in the field of sports journalism, is still among the strongest and loudest voices in the industry. But how does he do it? How does he continue to perform and keep his body in shape at his age amid such a busy schedule?

Skip Bayless Gives Fans An Inside Look Into His Personal Workout Routine

In a video for Men’s health, Bayless (who is a notorious fitness fanatic) answered those questions by giving viewers a look into his gym routine and offering some tips on good workout habits.

“So I always say that I win every debate the night before with my preparation, but the truth is I win every debate with my workout either the day before or the morning of. The physical stamina creates mental stamina,” Bayless said. “I started weights in 1982, the old novels weights, that was back in my hardcore marathon running days. But I’ve gone deeper and deeper into resistance training while keeping my cardio always one hour every day.”

He then went into detail about his different cardio and resistance training techniques.

While Bayless might not seem like it, he’s actually one of the fittest men in the industry, especially for his age. He has always been an advocate for eating right, staying in shape, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle — and it’s good to know that he actively practices what he preaches.

As for his career in television, he’s a hit or miss with most fans. While he offers a unique and interesting perspective, his takes can sometimes feel personal or illogical and it has attracted a lot of haters in his direction.

Naturally, like the athletes he covers for a living, he has no choice but to deal with the haters if he wants to stay successful in the business. But if we know anything about Skip, it’s that he is just as tough mentally and emotionally as he is physically.
