Stephen Curry is one of the most famous athletes in the world. As a result, the media has always been interested in Steph’s life. Evidently, his mother Sonya Curry is also pretty well-known among NBA Fans.

But it’s not like Sonya is only famous for being the mother of Steph and Seth Curry. During her younger days, Curry was a volleyball player and donned the role of a setter for her team.

Additionally, Sonya also played basketball for her school while winning a couple of championships. Fast forward to 2022, Curry has now decided to try her luck with writing a book.

Her new book is titled “Fierce Love: A Memoir of Family, Faith, and Purpose.” Curry’s new memoir is all set to be published on May 03, 2022. Talking about her book, Sonya revealed the reason behind writing the book.

Via People:

“I wrote Fierce Love to share my story, my testimony, and my experience so that others may find strength and purpose in their own journeys. I want to encourage others to pray continuously, live intentionally, love fiercely, and laugh daily!”

Curry’s book description reads, “Curry tells her story for the first time in Fierce Love, beginning with her childhood in rural Virginia and moving through the peaks and valleys of an incredible life — from raising her immensely gifted but sometimes headstrong children, to becoming an educator and founding a Montessori school, to discovering a profound, life-sustaining spiritual connection to her faith.”

It will be exciting to see what the book reveals about the life of Sonya Curry. Many fans are anticipating reading about why Sonya filed for a divorce from her long-time partner and former NBA star Dell Curry.

Apart from that, her transition from being an athlete to founding a Montessori school is simply amazing. Hopefully, we will learn more about that in the book, which will publish soon.
