Luka Doncic is one of the best players in the NBA, an MVP candidate, and somebody who has taken his team to compete in almost every season he’s played with the Dallas Mavericks.

Luka is one of those players who does almost everything on the court, and everybody is delighted by him. Those who play every day with him are the closest witnesses to his talents, and Spencer Dinwiddie has seen so many memorable things done by Luka.

Doncic often talks with Dinwiddie about his future plays, surprising the former Brooklyn Nets player with his boldness. The guard, who recently explained the differences between James Harden and Doncic, explained what makes Luka a cold player.

Luka Doncic Toys With Defenders During Games

In the same conversation he had on Outta Pocket, Spence revealed that Luka often announces what he’s about to do, just like Larry Bird did during his best days, and then completes the big plays.

“LD got game, bruh. The best part is when he starts calling out what he’s gonna do. You gotta be really nice to do that.

“Here is the thing, if I’m sitting right here, and he’s like, ‘Spence, look what I’m about to do.’ He just kind of sort of being polite. He’s trying not to start a fight.

Dinwiddie also explained what makes Luka hard to stop and what are his advantages at the time of scoring.

“One of the biggest pieces about it, he’s a little bit quicker than people think. He’s not strong in a sense of like, powerful, he’s strong in the sense of really heavy. He’s kinda like always off-beat.”

Luka is really a great player, and coincidentally, he has been compared to Larry Bird for his style of play. Now, he has more reasons to be compared to the Boston Celtics legend. Meanwhile, he tries to lead the Dallas Mavericks to the promised land, but the job has gotten more difficult this season. The entire Mavericks team is ready to help Luka win, but so far, the Slovenian player is struggling to lead them to the top of the West.
