After the departure of Russell Westbrook, nobody was sure about how the Washington Wizards would respond.
But, amid a wild and crazy day of NBA free agency, they finally were able to make some noise of their own.
As reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wizards have reached a deal to sign free-agent guard Spencer Dinwiddie.

Dinwiddie comes to D.C. from Brooklyn, where he showed he could be a consistent and reliable offensive scorer.
In D.C., he could thrive in an offense featuring Bradley Beal and could keep the Wizards competitive in the East.
In his last full season on the court, he averaged 20.6 points, 6.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game on 41% shooting.
