Stephen A. Smith once again went after Anthony Davis, calling out the Los Angeles Lakers star for his bad shape.

The controversial analyst has been very critical of AD in the past couple of months, and in today’s edition of ESPN’s First Take, Smith had something to say about Davis’ fitness.

“Even the first week of the season he is looking like he’s breathing heavy after a few minutes. It’s always the case. And, I don’t know if he’s got the Lamar Odom syndrome where he is eating Skittles and Twizzlers and all of that stuff, driving the Late Great Kobe Bryant crazy… But he’s not in peak condition. That is a fact. And that is the issue with Anthony Davis… Damn, he could be in better shape.”

This is always a problem for NBA players, as they need to be in the best possible shape to maximize their abilities and take their teams to the promised land. Players like Shaquille O’Neal were always criticized for this. Luka Doncic is constantly under scrutiny for the same, as well as Zion Williamson

Davis can be added to that list, as Smith doesn’t think the player is doing everything in his power to stay in the best shape. NBA players are elite athletes and if they fail at one thing, the rest simply falls apart.

Stephen A. Smith Has Been One Of Davis’ Biggest Critics

Stephen A. has found a new victim in Anthony Davis to direct his criticism. After he admitted he had personal stuff with Kyrie Irving going on, the veteran is now knocking on AD whenever he has the chance.

This led to AD unfollowing Smith on Twitter, but the reporter isn’t losing sleep over that. Now, Davis has to put in the work during the summer to show everybody he’s ready to lead the Lakers to another championship, but many think he’s not made for that.
