During a recent episode of First Take on ESPN, Television analyst Stephen A. Smith called out 3x NBA champion Stephen Curry.
Draymond Green’s recent interview with Kevin Durant has been making quite the noise in the media circles. The two superstars touched upon several controversial subjects during their chat.
One such topic was the infamous spat between the former teammates during 2018 in a game against the LA Clippers.
During the final minutes of the game, Durant and Green got into a heated argument. As reported, Green was seen hurling abuses at KD and taking some jibes at the 4x scoring champion, saying that the Warriors had won a chip without him and didn’t need him.
The situation escalated very quickly and would have the Warriors bench separate the two.
To date, it is believed the above incident was one of the major reasons why Durant left the Warriors and went to Brooklyn.
However, the two individuals recently had a candid discussion about the incident on the show, chips.
While speaking about the controversy, the two seemed to have passed the buck onto the Warriors management. Both Green and Durant agreed that they could have sorted the issue by themselves and did not need outside interference.
While discussing some excerpts from the interview on the show, First Take Stephen A.Smith brought up Stephen Curry into the conversation.
With all due respect, where the hell was STEPH Curry??? pic.twitter.com/VP8gvOATZj

Smith seemed rather surprised by the fact that nobody questioned where the 2x MVP stood on this matter.
There is no doubt if one had to put a face to the Golden State Warriors franchise, that face would be Steph Curry. Thus Smith felt it was necessary to know what the golden boy felt about this.
According to the NBA analyst, Curry has been given a pass on many occasions due to his easy-going guy nature. The fact is that he is one of the most inspirational and loved athletes of this generation.
However, Smith did make some interesting points. It will be interesting what Curry would have to say to this.
