After winning the fourth ring of his career, Stephen Curry arguably belongs at the table of the greatest players of all-time. He has had a huge impact on the game of basketball. He has all the accolades an NBA player could dream of. He is one of the most beloved superstars of all-time.
So when you talk about Curry, you unconsciously associate him with the likes of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and other amazing players. But when you take a look at his career stats, he shockingly has a similar resume to that of San Antonio Spurs legend Tony Parker.
Parker spent all but one season of his career with the Spurs and helped the team win four NBA Championships during his career.
Although Parker was a great player, no one would argue that he was on the level of Stephen Curry. Despite that, an NBA fan on Twitter took the liberty to compare the career stats of both players.
Tony Parker:
– 4 rings
– 1 FMVP
– 19,473 career points
– 4045 playoff points
– 6x All-Star
Steph Curry:
– 4 rings
– 1 FMVP
– 20,064 career points
– 3570 playoff points
– 8x All-Star
Very similar careers.

Although the careers of the two players might be similar as of now, Steph still has a lot of fuel left in his tank. So it’s obvious that he will continue to add more points in both the regular season and playoffs.
But what this tweet proves is that Tony Parker was severely underappreciated for his time in the league. Due to the fact that he played for the Spurs, he wasn’t in the spotlight as much as Steph.
After taking a look at this post, most fans will certainly have a newfound respect for TP. As of now, Parker is retired from the league and the shocking part is that he is yet to enter the basketball Hall of Fame. But considering his longtime teammate Manu Ginobili entered the Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2022, Parker should soon get the nod too.
