Stephen Curry added yet another chapter on his road to becoming arguably the greatest point guard this league has ever seen with a 50-point Game 7 performance to save the Warriors’ season.
After the sensational performance, a reporter asked Curry if there was anyone in the NBA that could stop him. Steph had a hilarious response hoping he doesn’t find the answer to that.
“Hopefully, we never find out.”

Steph Curry was carrying the Warriors through most of their first-round series and stepped up when the team needed him the most. The Warriors pounced on the Kings’ lack of playoff experience in Game 7, and Steph played arguably the best game of his playoff career.
Is There Anyone On The Lakers That Can Stop Stephen Curry?
The second-round matchup with the most hype is easily the Lakers vs. Warriors as LeBron James meets his old foes in the playoffs once again. This is their first matchup since the 2018 NBA Finals, and will have fans tune in from around the world. But is there anyone on the Lakers that can slow or limit Curry?
The defensive task will likely fall on the Lakers’ POA defender, Jarred Vanderbilt. We’ve seen Vando lock up multiple elite points guards this season. In his only regular season matchup against the Warriors since joining the Lakers, Vando’s defense was crucial in getting the team a win.
Vanderbilt ended that game with a +25 rating and held Curry to an inefficient 27 points. He’ll have to do a lot more to limit Curry, someone who’s never been definitively stopped by one player in the playoffs.
