Stephen Curry On Rivalry With Damian Lillard: “The Best Guys Bring The Best Out In You.”

Stephen Curry was decided to put up a show on Sunday night and he did it in a great fashion. The 2x NBA MVP took the Golden State Warriors to a 137-122 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, scoring 62 points in the process.

Amid criticism and bad comments, Steph stepped up and showed off all his quality in the Warriors’ win. It was a terrific game for the Splash Brother and he had reasons to be inspired. Following the encounter, Steph reflected on his big game, explaining he was ready to play great and even named Damian Lillard as one of the reasons he tried to play even better on Sunday.

Curry and Lillard have been compared a lot in recent times, with fans and analysts putting them as the two best point guards in the NBA. That conversation will keep happening as long as they’re healthy and playing like they did last night. Curry scored 62 points but Lillard wasn’t shy, dropping 32.

“The best guys bring the best out in you,” Curry said about going against Lillard.

This is great to watch. Steph and Dame are said to have a big rivalry but none of that is true. Damian even reflected on Curry’s struggles this season, explaining what is going on for the sharpshooter this season.

Curry is ready to lead his team to the postseason and after his Sunday night performance, the return of Draymond Green and the improvements they make along the way, the Warriors can make some noise this season.
