Steve Kerr Explains The Similarity Between Stephen Curry And Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time. Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter in the history of the game. Steve Kerr has been lucky enough to be around both of them during their primes, both in the locker room and when a championship is on the line.

Obviously, if someone can talk about Jordan’s or Curry’s craft, traits, work ethic, or whatnot that’s definitely Kerr, as he’s spent so much time with them throughout his career.

So, when people asked him about the similarities between the GOAT and Steph, he claimed that the thing that resembles him the most is the fact that you’ll always be in for a show. Like you never know what’s going to happen when they hit the hardwood:

“It’s a little bit like — people ask me, ‘What was it like to play with Michael Jordan?’ Well, every night was a show. That was the biggest thing with Michael. Every single night you just were in awe of what you were watching. And because of that, I never really thought of one moment with Michael Jordan. That’s kind of how I feel with Steph. He’s had so many big games for us, so many big shots, but there’s not really one that stands out,” Kerr told Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area, as quoted by Yahoo! Sports.

Curry can go human-torch mode in the blink of an eye, we’ve seen that over and over. Once he starts heating up from deep, there’s just no defender in the world that can do anything about it.

The same went for Michael Jordan, who’s endless fire made him bring his A-Game regardless of the scoreboard any given night. Both of them made people get up from their seats and shake their heads on disbelief, so we definitely agree with Kerr here.
