Steve Kerr Roasts TNT’s David Aldridge After Interview During Game 6

1 Min Read

Just like his former head coach Gregg Popovich, Steve Kerr can be one of the funniest coaches in the NBA when it comes to interviews with journalists. The fact that he’s never really had to face hard-hitting questions day in and day out because his team is always winning plays a part in how happy-go-lucky he is with the media, but still, it seems like Kerr is always joking around in interviews or being extremely sarcastic, and nothing changed during the Warriors Game 6 outing with the Houston Rockets.

Being a commentator with TNT before accepting the role of head coach for the Warriors, Kerr is familiar with most of TNT’s media members, so when David Aldridge took Kerr aside before the third quarter and asked him about not having experience facing elimination in the playoffs, Kerr had to show him up.

Of course, the last time the Warriors trailed in a series before last night against the Rockets was back in 2016, when Golden State came back from a 3-1 deficit in the Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, pre-Kevin Durant decision, something Aldridge must’ve forgotten about.
