Draymond Green is already a good playmaker for his teammates, as well as one of the candidates for the DPOY award. There is no doubt that he is a future Hall of Famer and that he is one of the greatest defenders the world has ever seen.

However, what made Draymond Green a menace in his prime was his ability to be a swiss knife, and space the floor at a solid rate. While obviously shooting isn’t the best part of his game, Draymond Green is a better offensive player when he’s willing to shoot from range. Steve Kerr has recently commented on what the best version of Draymond Green is, and he mentioned shooting as part of it.

Kerr: “The best version of Draymond, you guys know this, is when somebody leaves him wide open, he makes a 3, he races over in front of the opponents’ bench and screams, ‘You better guard me.’"

"And then he might add an expletive or two." https://t.co/3qt3QfYaBN

There is no doubt that when Draymond Green shoots, the Golden State Warriors’ offense is able to work at a much higher level. That isn’t to minimize his contributions: he is one of the most versatile players in the league on the defensive end, able to contribute on both the interior and the perimeter, as well as switch freely between all five positions.

If he regains his offense in the off-season, Draymond Green could be a lethal two-way force once again. If he is able to become a better scoring threat, then there are few teams who can match the Golden State Warriors.
