The Brooklyn Nets Are Not Interested In Trading James Harden Per NBA Analyst Adrian Wojnarowski

When James Harden left the Houston Rockets, it was believed that the Beard would stay with the Brooklyn Nets for the foreseeable future, but recently there were rumors that he might not be interested in playing for the Nets.

After all, the former MVP didn’t sign an extension in the offseason. Despite all the rumors, Harden has apparently told the organization that he has no plans to leave the team.

The rumors might be due to Harden and the Nets struggling in recent days. In the absence of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving playing just away games, it is hard for the team to find some rhythm.

So if the Nets are losing games, most of the blame is being put on Harden’s shoulders. This led to a few discussing the possibility of Harden getting traded from the Nets. The reason for it is the fact that the Beard was linked with the Philadelphia 76ers for a long time, before getting traded to the Nets last season.

NBA analyst Adrian Wojnarowski has once again come to Nets fans’ rescue with a recent report. In the report, he made it clear that the Nets have no plans to trade James amid the rumors around the All-Star guard’s future with the franchise.

Via ESPN:

The Brooklyn Nets won’t listen to trade-deadline overtures for All-NBA guard James Harden, a resolve rooted in Harden’s repeated insistences to ownership and management that he is committed to staying and winning a championship with the franchise, sources told ESPN. Nets owner Joe Tsai and general manager Sean Marks are buoyed not only by Harden’s consistent internal stance but the shared public and private belief among superstars Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving that the three make the Nets an unstoppable team when playing together.”

Being a part of the superteam is a tough task for any NBA superstar. Even more so when the supposed superstars have played very few games together.

As we move forward this season, the chemistry issues for the Nets should be resolved. Moreover, if the city of New York lifts its current rules about COVID-19 vaccination then Kyrie can become a part of the team in home games as well.

As for Harden’s future, while he is staying with the Nets for the time being, he could change his find in the summer of 2022.
