It looks like Derrick Rose might finish his NBA career with his former home team, the Chicago Bulls.
Per NBA insider Marc Stein, Chicago is one of the teams expected to be interested in signing the former MVP.
“Phoenix, Milwaukee, and Chicago have all quickly been cited as teams expected to have a level of interest in former MVP Derrick Rose after the Knicks declined to pick up their $15.6 million team option on Rose for next season,” Stein wrote in his substack.

This comes on the back of Steve Popper of Newsday Sports, who earlier said that the Bulls, along with the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and the Phoenix Suns, were contending teams to sign the guard after the New York Knicks declined to exercise their team option for Rose ahead of the upcoming season.
A move to the Lakers has been doing the rounds over the past couple of years. A return to the Bulls has been wishful thinking, but it appears that it might indeed become a reality.
It Will Be Fitting To See Derrick Rose Finish His Career With The Bulls
Derrick Rose played for the Bulls between 2008 and 2016. He was selected as the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Bulls, and he has set a slew of records since.
During his time with Chicago, he averaged 19.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 6.2 assists. While his career has been hampered by a string of injuries, he still has shown glimpses of his abilities, and maybe that might be one of the reasons behind the Bulls looking to re-sign their former star.
With his playing time seeing a significant dip with the Knicks, a move to the Bulls will see Rose definitely getting some game time, and a chance to make an impact with his skillful play. Only time will tell if we see the 34-year-old in the iconic Bulls red jersey this time.
