During the Western Conference Semifinals matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, a dog went viral for accurately predicting the outcome of games.

It predicted the Lakers would up be 3-1 after Game 4, but had them blowing that lead and losing the series. As we all know, the Lakers didn’t lose but the dog has gone viral again, predicting that the Denver Nuggets would beat the Lakers in six games.

Considering the dog also got the outcome wrong for the series between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks, it is safe to say you shouldn’t go by these predictions. For what it is worth though, the Nuggets did win Game 1, so the dog got that much right at least. Lakers fans would be hoping it got the outcome right for the next game as well, as the dog predicted they would win that one.

The Lakers Aren’t Losing Too Much Confidence Following The Loss

L.A. seemed completely outmatched for much of this game as they trailed by as many as 21 points but roared back in the fourth quarter and had a chance to win it as well. The Lakers would be encouraged by how they managed to nearly overturn that huge deficit on the road. You normally see teams collapse when they are down big away from home but they showed a lot of spirit and refused to lie down.

Head coach Darvin Ham said they’ll be just fine following this loss and he expects his team to come out with more urgency to start Game 2. LeBron James promised that they would be better next time out and the Nuggets would be bracing themselves for a strong response. They have done something though that no other team has managed to in these playoffs, which is to take the lead in the series against the Lakers. They’ll be keen to not relinquish it at any point moving forward.
