The Lakers Came Back From A 3-1 Deficit To Beat The Bucks In NBA 2K’s Official Playoff Simulation

2 Min Read

We have a new NBA champion. At least in 2K20, where the Los Angeles Lakers were crowned as the 2019/20 NBA champions after they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in seven games, coming back from a big deficit in the process.

It looks like LeBron James has gotten used to coming back from non-favorable results. Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks had a 3-1 lead in the simulated series, only to lose the next three games of the series and succumb against the Purple and Gold led by James and Anthony Davis. Anthony, precisely, was selected as the MVP of the series.

“The Lakers winning the NBA Finals in the 2KSim is really fun,” Davis said, via ClutchPoints’ Ryan Ward. “Given the realism of NBA 2K & their past predictions, it’s cool to see our potential get recognized. It makes you excited to get back on the court and try to bring a real ring to Los Angeles!”

Many people have started to say this could be a prediction of what is going to happen when the season is restarted. However, this is not the only scenario we saw of these simulations. An earlier version showed the Philadelphia 76ers taking down the Lakers, while the Bucks failed to make to the Finals.

The league is suspended since March 12 and fans can’t wait to see what will happen with the association in the near future. The restart of the season could be decided next month after the league investigates the situation.
