The Golden State Warriors moved on from Jordan Poole in a deal that netted them Chris Paul, but it seems like that may not be the end of this story.

Although the Warriors could feature a stacked lineup with Paul involved, there is continued speculation that they might move on from the star point guard.

“I’m still skeptical about whether or not Chris Paul is on this team come October the 12th, 13th, or whenever the season starts,” John House said on the East Coast Bias podcast. “He could make a huge difference on a bunch of teams. I mean, I think he would be amazing in Miami. I think he could be incredible potentially in Boston. There are teams out there that Chris Paul can help.

“He gets his choice because he is an OG, an elder statesman. There is still a connection to the LA teams. Could he make a difference with the Lakers? Man, that would be kind of interesting. I’m not there yet with Chris Paul on Golden State, trying to fit into that mix.”

The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics could very much use a true point guard on their rosters, as could the Los Angeles Lakers. There are certainly some interesting possibilities involving Chris Paul that could change the current NBA landscape. Whether those will come to fruition or not remains to be seen, and nothing could be more entertaining than watching Paul on the Warriors after years of competing against the team.

The Warriors And Chris Paul Have Made It Sound Like He Will Play For The Team

Chris Paul is 38 years old and will likely not play heavy minutes for the Warriors. But he could be invaluable in running the offense when Stephen Curry sits out and allow him to thrive off the ball when they are on the court together. And he’s made all the right noises so far, he seems committed to helping the Warriors win a championship

Chris Paul has a history of making the teams he joins better, something even Stephen Curry has admitted. He can also help unlock Kevon Looney on offense and is an elite shooter in the midrange, giving them an additional weapon. Paul averaged 13.9 points and 8.9 assists for the Suns last season. If he is to be moved on, it would certainly be odd for him and all the Warriors’ stars to have said everything they already have.
