“These FC Barcelona Players Shoot Better Than Ben Simmons”, NBA Fans Joke After Barcelona Players Visit The Brooklyn Nets Training Facility And Met Ben Simmons

3 Min Read

The Brooklyn Nets are a team in turmoil at the moment, there’s no way to tell who will and won’t be on the roster to start next season. Kevin Durant is still on the trade market, as is Kyrie Irving, with the Nets seemingly set on moving on from them if the right deal can be found.

That leaves them with the curious case of Ben Simmons. Simmons is a top player in the league, an All-Star at his best. But his shooting woes have led to a lot of issues for Ben, and he hasn’t played an NBA game in a whole season. He is in training with the Nets right now, though, so he ended up having an odd encounter recently.

FC Barcelona players turned up for a visit to the Nets facility, big names like Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and the young phenom Pedri were among them.

The soccer stars enjoyed meeting some of the Nets players, including Simmons, and played some basketball of their own. And with NBA fans never missing an opportunity to roast Simmons, that’s exactly what they did when a post about the visit went viral.

“Bro they probably went there for KD and Kyrie.”

“These FC Barcelona players shoot better than Ben Simmons.”

“Yo Pedri should have played horse with Ben.”

“Damn Pedri got that nice form!”

“Bro Ben Simmons acting like he’s more famous than any Barca player lol.”

“Did he make that 3 pointer in?”

“They ain’t better then ben tho.”

“Pedri got a heater on and off the pitch fr.”

“I see Ben’s back is feeling better.”

“They getting more shot attempts too.”

“Imagine being him, afraid to shoot here.”

Simmons is trolled quite often, and the only way for him to make that stop is by returning next season and playing well. The Barcelona players likely enjoyed a good time and had fun meeting Ben, but it’s no surprise that this is not the focus of the fans that are responding. We can only hope for Ben’s sake that this changes soon.
