‘They Said Nobody Could Replace James Harden In Houston And Then Kevin Porter Jr. Scores 50 Points After Getting Fine For Going To A Strip Club’, Says Rob Perez

Kevin Porter Jr. landed in Houston looking for new opportunities and fresh air after a tumultuous tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The young player is expected to have a good NBA career as long as he keeps working and stays out of trouble and the Rockets are high on him right now.

Those expectations certainly went higher after the 20-year-old guard went off on the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night. He dropped 50 points on the Bucks, to go along with 11 assists, to become the youngest player to score 50 and dish 10 assists in NBA history, surpassing LeBron James.

”After I saw the third 3 go down, I knew it was going to be a special night,” Porter said. ”It was all up to me. I just stayed aggressive, and it was a good night.”

It was a very good performance by the player and a lot of people reacted, including Rob Perez, who instantly made the comparison between Porter Jr. and the last superstar the Rockets had, James Harden. In recent days, KPJ has been involved in some situations very similar to the ones Harden starred during his days in Houston and Perez took notice of that.

“They said nobody could replace James Harden in Houston and then KPJ dropped 50/11 after getting fined for going to a strip club. That legacy is in good hands.”

The young player recently was fined by the league for attending a strip club and breaking the league’s health protocol. After Sterling Brown’s altercation came to life and the league investigate the event, KPJ received a $50K fine for his actions in Miami.

Curiously, his favorite player is the Beard, as it was revealed on draft night. There are a lot of coincidences between these players.

If he can lead this team the same way James Harden did during the 8 years he spent in H-Town, those things won’t be a big deal for a lot of people. This kid has the talent to be great in the league and if he does things the right way, the Rockets would have stolen a gem from the Cavs.

Porter is averaging 15.2 points, 6.2 assists, and 3.8 rebounds with Houston this season.
