TNT Announcers Troll Clippers, Start Laughing At Them During Lakers-Nuggets Garbage Time

Following a disastrous elimination at the hands of the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Clippers have been the victims of plenty of jokes around the NBA. Fans, analysts, even other players have mocked the Clippers for blowing a 3-1 lead in the second round of the playoffs.

That took a different dimension during Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets. During garbage time, game announcers remembered the Clippers and reminded people where they are at this moment.

“Y’all know where the Clippers are now,” they say, referring to CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard’s comments about taking the Clippers to Cancun following their elimination.

They couldn’t stop laughing and to be honest, it was a pretty fun sequence. The Clippers went from being huge favorites to win it all to become the talk of the league in just one week. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George underperformed when it mattered the most, they let three games slip through their hands and now are seeing as the biggest failure in the league in the last five years or so.

No wonder everybody is mocking them whenever they have the chance to do so.
