Most arguably, one of the best to ever play basketball is being accused of also being one of the worst tippers ever. There have been plenty of stories throughout the years of million-dollar athletes leaving none or little tips to a staff who worked day and night to provide the best experience for them. Well, LeBron James might be added to that list of athletes who do not tip well.
LeBron James is now being called out for it by Instagram user DeuxMoi who reportedly served the NBA superstar in Toronto. DeuxMoi stated the NBA Finals MVP tipped $0 even when offered over more than 10K in free booze.
Besides not tipping, DeuxMoi went on to add LeBron’s security was extremely rude and treated the fellow servers with no respect.
From the outside, it seems James is the savior of the public as he has donated over $2.5 million to the Muhammed Ali exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and of course his famous I Promise School. It will be interesting to see if more information comes out from this zero tipping story.
