Trae Young Before Watching ‘The Last Dance’: “I Feel Like This Documentary Gonna Make Me Put MJ #1, Instead Of #2”

Trae Young seemingly had a good surprise on Sunday night when he saw the first two episodes of Michael Jordan’s documentary ‘The Last Dance’. In one recent Q&A session on Twitter, the Atlanta Hawks point guard had listed his top five players of all time, picking LeBron as the #1 on that list over Michael Jordan.

The All-Star player may have had second thoughts on Sunday, as he wrote he felt the 10-part docuseries focused on the Chicago Bulls dynasty of the 90s would change his opinion on who is the greatest player of all time.

“I feel like this documentary gonna make me put MJ #1, instead of #2… Can’t Wait!!! #LastDance,” he wrote a couple of hours before the premiere of the documentary.

NBA fans were quick to ‘congratulate’ him for changing his mind while others criticized him for doing so that quickly and not sticking to his word.

Even Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell called him out, recalling Young’s words from last month.

The main reason for Jordan to release this docuseries was to remind people and tell younger fans that there wasn’t, there isn’t and pretty much there won’t be a better player than him in the association. It’s already working given the reactions from current and former NBA stars after the first two episodes of the documentary.
