New York Post

The Atlanta Hawks have been defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals, losing in 6 games. While Trae Young ended up suiting up for the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6, that didn’t change the outcome of the series.

It is clear that the Hawks have a bright future. Trae Young is going to get better with a year of playoff experience, as will young talents such as John Collins and Kevin Huerter. There is no question that the Hawks could potentially make it back to these heights next season, and there’s even a chance they could make it further. Hawks star Trae Young has recently suggested that the Hawks will be back in an article by Tim Bontemps.

As the Atlanta Hawks’ season came to an end with a 118-107 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals, Trae Young walked off the court after the final buzzer sounded and shouted one message to the fans crowded around the tunnel next to Atlanta’s bench at State Farm Arena:

“We’ll be back.”

It was a final defiant message from Young, one of the breakout stars of these playoffs, after he finished with 14 points on 4-for-17 shooting in 40 minutes Saturday night in his return to action after sitting out Games 4 and 5 with a bone bruise in his right foot and a sprained right ankle.

“I feel like we’ll be back, and I meant it with my whole heart,” Young said.

The Atlanta Hawks have a good future ahead of them, and it will be interesting to see if Trae Young will be able to lead them to the NBA Finals. Trae Young has shown the world that he’s a superstar, and he will bring Atlanta success for years to come.
