Stephen Curry has been lighting up defenses all season, as he has taken on the majority of the scoring load for the Golden State Warriors. While Curry does have some solid supplementary scorers on the roster such as Kelly Oubre Jr. and Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors’ offense this season has been primarily the Stephen Curry show. Stephen Curry’s scoring heroics have vaulted him into the MVP conversation, even though his team’s performance as a whole has been inconsistent.

Aside from many pundits and players arguing that Stephen Curry should be the MVP, it seems as though a lot of fans think so as well. A graphic by theScore depicted that many fans from all over the United States believe that Stephen Curry should be the MVP. The graphic mentions that it is based on geotagged Twitter data from all over the US. While there are some states that believe in players from their teams such as Milwaukee and Giannis Antetokounmpo, it is clear that people from across the country are rooting for Stephen Curry.

While Stephen Curry likely won’t win the award, it is clear that his performances have convinced many of his value to his team. Stephen Curry plays some of the most entertaining basketball in the league as well, and a small part of the MVP award has been the entertainment factor. Stephen Curry is currently the scoring leader in the NBA, and he doesn’t look like he’s going to stop doing it. Stephen Curry has been the most important player for his team this season, and even if he doesn’t win the MVP, he is still the one of the best offensive players in the game.
