Twitter Reacts After Mavericks Go On 48-18 Run Against The Clippers

1 Min Read

By all accounts, the L.A. Clippers are destined for a spot in the Western Conference Finals. With two of the best players in the league on their team, and a strong supporting cast to match, it has been hard to imagine anyone overtaking them in a 7-game series.

But in the first half of game one of the very first round, there are signs that the road to the title is going to be a lot harder than anyone imagined.

After taking a 16 point lead, the Luka-led Mavericks came roaring back to take a 14-point lead following an astonishing 48-18 run. Win or lose, it doesn’t seem as though Dallas is going to make things easy for the Clips. And on Twitter, the internet was going crazy with reactions.

It should be noted that the Mavs’ lead didn’t last for very long, either. By half-time, both teams were tied up with a score of 69-66.

No doubt, this is shaping up to be one of the most exciting first-round series of the postseason. And, by the looks of it so far, it really could be anyone’s to win.
