The lives of NBA players revolve around basketball, for the most part, especially the ones that stick around in the league for long, considering how difficult it is to carve out a long career at that level. However, the longevity and elite play come with their perks, bigger contracts, endorsements, generational wealth, and fame.

While all of these things constitute the dream for almost everyone, they also have their pitfalls. Fame can make life hard to live normally, while the constant attention leads to players having several opportunities that other people simply don’t to get whatever they want. Players cheating on their significant others is a fairly common story in the NBA, and the latest to be accused of it is Heat guard Tyler Herro.

Herro had very publicly been in a relationship with Katya Elise Henry, the two have a baby together, and their relationship is generally looked at favorably by the fans as well. However, in a tweet and an Instagram story posted recently, Henry has heavily implied that Herro has cheated on her.

Instagram Story: “If you cheat on someone that is willing to do anything for you, you actually cheated yourself out od true loyalty.”

Tweet: “this hurts.”

On top of all this, Henry has also seemingly unfollowed Herro on Instagram, significant because of how many of their moments together they shared via the social media app. It’s unfortunate to say that this story is very common in the NBA, but with Herro having almost ascended to star status and being famous in Miami, it’s also not the most surprising.

Whatever may be going on in his personal life, there are a few uncertainties in basketball terms for Herro as well. The Sixth Man Of the Year this season, he is hoping to get a starting role next year and will be due for a new contract soon too, both of which promise to be interesting storylines.
