Luka Doncic and Chris Paul are both elite point guards who are currently facing off in a second-round battle. Luka Doncic has won the latest game between the two, leading the Dallas Mavericks to a win in Game 3.

Chris Paul is a player that is known among fans for exaggerating contact, in an attempt to draw fouls on the opponent. That happened today when Chris Paul took light contact from Luka Doncic and ended up drawing the offensive foul. It is clear that Luka Doncic didn’t think that it was an offensive foul, as he ended up mocking Chris Paul for flopping.

There is no doubt that drawing fouls on an opposing superstar is a good tactic, as they would be forced to deal with sitting out of the game for an extended period of time due to foul trouble. However, it is clear that Luka Doncic wasn’t appreciative of that being done to him.

Luka Doncic did get the last laugh due to his team winning though, and he put up an amazing performance with 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists. Some even believe that he is the real MVP of the league. Luka Doncic has shown his superstar status all of these playoffs, and the Dallas Mavericks will need much more of that if they are to win the series against the Phoenix Suns. Luka Doncic will have to get used to more of those tricks from Chris Paul though, as Paul is a veteran with years of experience, that knows exactly how to draw fouls on unsuspecting opponents.

It remains to be seen who ends up winning this series between the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns. While the Dallas Mavericks have the best player in the series, the Phoenix Suns have a more complete team than the Dallas Mavericks. With that being said, Luka Doncic will need to be at his best for the Mavericks to be competitive against the Suns, and we’ll see how he performs in Game 4.
