Wholesome Moment: Adam Silver Crowns Nikola Jokic The MVP In Nuggets Team Meeting

2 Min Read

Sir Charles In Charge

Nuggets fan or not, it’s impossible to hate Nikola Jokic. Besides what he brings to the table on the court, he has always been a nice, fun-loving guy off the court, and it has helped make him one of the most likable stars in the NBA.

After winning the MVP, we got to see some more footage of Jokic, and it’s just the epitome of wholesome content.

It was awesome to see the team’s reaction after Adam Silver crashes the party (to announce Jokic as the MVP), but perhaps even greater to hear what he had to say:

“This may be an individual award, but I couldn’t have done it without you. It’s my trophy but you guys are a big part of it.”

Jokic is as humble as it gets, and the dude is clearly a team player.

After winning wich a crowning award, he didn’t sit back and let absorb the applause. He gave credit to his teammates and included them in the moment.

Of course, we all know that Jokic and his team are after something much bigger right now anyway. They’re going for the ultimate prize — and that requires full effort and cohesion from the roster.

Certainly, Jokic seems to be steering the ship in the right direction.
