Wilt Chamberlain is one of the most colorful characters in the NBA’s history. There have been many superstars that have graced the NBA whose influence has reached far beyond basketball fandoms. Wilt Chamberlain was one of the original superstars in that sense. His notoriety within circles outside of basketball was immense. And the big man also had quite an interesting personal life, especially for the time.

There are quite a few stories about Wilt Chamberlain‘s many involvements with women; most know the claim that he slept with 20,000 women. However, he was also quite well-known in Hollywood circles, especially after he became a Los Angeles Laker. And it’s no surprise then, that there are photos of Wilt from that time with various celebrities, including an interesting one from the Playboy Mansion.

The Playboy Mansion was the home of Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy magazine. Hefner’s home was a known location for some wild parties, and he played host to some of the biggest stars after he had purchased it in 1974. The mansion itself became a symbol of celebrity, so to see that Wilt was also there from time to time makes perfect sense. And it’s also incredible to see a younger Arnold Schwarzenegger with him.

It’s not difficult to guess what Chamberlain was doing there; he was probably enjoying his time off with some hardcore partying. The stories that could be told about him are probably endless, and it never gets tiring to find out more about one of the NBA’s most enigmatic superstars.

Wilt Chamberlain Dated Quentin Tarantino’s Mother, Connie Zastoupil

In many ways, the Los Angeles elite is a very small community, and the industry of Hollywood is quite a tight-knit circle. So it’s no surprise to find out that there are some incredible connections among them, including the fact that Wilt Chamberlain seemingly dated Quentin Tarantino’s mother, Connie Zastoupil.

“But also neither did Wilt Chamberlain. She’s not just a notch on his lipstick case, she dated him for a couple of years. She never pretended like they were ever exclusive, so I doubt they were exclusive. But for a couple of years, she was like his No. 1 lady.”

If Wilt Chamberlain was around and famous in the social media generation, his exploits would be even more well-known. However, it is a good thing, perhaps, that one of the game’s greatest managed to live the way he wanted without too much scrutiny. The stories and the pictures make for fun viewing now.
