Klay Thompson has a rather young friend who refers to him by his full name, and if you’re a Golden State Warriors fan, the interaction between the two is icing on the cake after their win against the Boston Celtics.

Stephen Curry’s son, Canon, is a regular feature during the home games, and soon after the convincing 123-107 win against Boston, he was walking with his father with Thompson following behind.

And in what comes as a heartwarming moment, greeted the sharpshooter by his full name. You can watch the adorable exchange between the duo below:

Wait til the end for the most adorable thing you’ll see today… Canon

As the players were heading into the locker room, Canon looked back to find Thompson and stole the show. “Hello, Klay Thompson,” he said, earning a big laugh from the player and everyone else.

Canon Curry Has Definitely Inherited His Father’s Basketball Skills

Off the court, where he’s seen mimicking his father’s celebrations and cheering for him from the sidelines, the younger Curry seems to have already made his intentions clear with the basketball.

Earlier, Curry’s wife, Ayesha, shared a video of Canon dribbling two basketballs simultaneously, and for a drill that requires intense hand-eye coordination and concentration, the four-year-old pretty much nailed the drill.

While there’s enough time for Canon to make his own career choices, it’s safe to say he loves the sport. His presence makes for wholesome content and not to mention a bit of a stressbuster for the players themselves, as witnessed above.

On the game front, the Warriors were led admirably by Curry (32 points) and Thompson (34 points) against a stiff Celtics side, who have been the team to beat so far this season. Golden State gear up for another stern test against the Milwaukee Bucks next and follow it up with a clash against the Indiana Pacers.
