“You Think Jordan Poole Saw Zendaya In The Crowd?”, Bleacher Report Hilariously Explains Why Jordan Poole Is Shooting 100% On Buzzer-Beaters From Half Court In The Finals

3 Min Read

Jordan Poole has fast made himself extremely important to the Warriors, having been the team’s third-highest scorer during the regular season. His numbers went up to start the playoffs too, although they have seen something of a regression since. And while Poole’s play in the Finals especially has left quite a bit to be desired, he’s made two very important and impressive shots in the series.

In Games 2 and 5, both of which the Warriors won, Poole has made a buzzer-beating three-pointer to end the 3rd quarter. Both shots have been hugely significant in the game as well, with the one in Game 5 especially, preventing the Celtics from going into the final quarter of the game with a lead.

And even though there are rumors of Poole having a girlfriend now, there are those that continue to hilariously say that he plays well when there are attractive women in the crowd. And a hilarious reaction along those lines came from Bleacher Report, who noticed that Hollywood star Zendaya was in attendance for Game 5.

“Here we go, this is nuts. Jordan Poole shooting 100% from halfcourt buzzer-beaters in the Finals. You think he saw Zendaya in the crowd and was like, ‘this is for you’?”

“Yeah, you know, they try to say he does it for the baddies and there was no baddies the last time he did it, so yeah.”

These situations linking Jordan Poole with attractive women have continued throughout the season, with fans joking about him asking out ESPN’s Malika Andrews earlier in the year

It’s all meant in good jest, it’s unlikely that Poole steps his game up extra if there are good-looking women in the crowd. And if that were the case, he would play lights out every game, as especially in the playoffs, crowds are filled with several good-looking women. Whatever it is helping him hit these huge shots though, the Warriors will be hoping that there’s a lot of it in Boston during Game 6.
