After a very good 2021-22 NBA season where they returned to the playoff, the Chicago Bulls have struggled to get things going this campaign, losing a bunch of games, starring in controversies, and pretty much being a failing team in the competitive Eastern Conference.

All these developments have taken a toll on the Bulls, who are now trying to return to the postseason amid a season that has been more full of downs than ups. The six-time NBA champions are ready to turn things around and make a final push for the playoff, but that won’t be easy.

Meanwhile, they keep trying to win games and see what the rest of the competition is doing, and Zach LaVine is well aware of that. The guard, who was heavily linked with a trade away from Chicago before the trade deadline, has reflected on this rocky season, admitting that they still have work to do to make it to the playoff.

Zach LaVine Reflects On The Chicago Bulls’ Tumultuous Season

LaVine, who will remain a topic of discussion around the NBA until the summer, made it clear that Chicago isn’t backing down, but they need to do better to improve their chances of making it to the postseason.

“This is our job. We’re not just throwing in the towel. I don’t think we have the type of team to do that,” LaVine said. “Losing hurts. Everybody is frustrated. But we’re doing our jobs every day. We’re the ones who have to figure it out. Nobody else is.”

The Bulls started this season with high expectations, but things have changed as the games went by. Now, they are struggling with a 26-33 record, ranking 11th in the East, worsening their situation after a painful 112-100 loss against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Zach knows this team needs to do more to find their way to win, but right now, that seems very unlikely.
