The Los Angeles Lakers have put together a super team ahead of the new season. During this offseason, the Lakers pulled off a trade for superstar Russell Westbrook, along with getting veteran stars like Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Wayne Ellington, Trevor Ariza, and Kent Bazemore. They also acquired young players like Kendrick Nunn and Malik Monk to help them space the floor.
The Lakers are completely stacked and are once again one of the favorites in the Western Conference. With LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook leading the Lakers, they will be one of the strongest sides in the NBA. But one popular NBA Fan isn’t impressed with the Lakers making all these moves.
Imagine fearing curry so much you have to form a team USA 2.0 😭🤣

Popular internet personality Flight took to Twitter to react to the Lakers’ new super team. Flight questioned why the Lakers put together such a strong team to take down Stephen Curry. Last season, the Lakers barely got past the Golden State Warriors in the play-in game to secure the seventh seed. It was an all-time classic between the two teams with the Lakers getting the better of them. The Warriors had a difficult season last year as they were missing Klay Thompson. Steph Curry was fantastic, one of the front runners for the MVP accolade.
A lot of Flight’s fans responded to him, noting how hypocritical his statement was. Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors were a superteam as early as two seasons ago. And those teams often dominated LeBron James, even when he had solid players around him. In their final season together, the Golden State Warriors had a starting line-up of five All-Stars: Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, and DeMarcus Cousins.
flight stop crying u support the warriors bro….. do u not remember ur all star starting 5????? 🤨

The Lakers have assembled an extremely strong squad going into the next season. But the offseason is far from over. The Golden State Warriors have several assets that they can use to secure another superstar, with Bradley Beal being the name that has been most commonly linked to the Warriors. If Golden State can complete another trade for a star, the Lakers will have another contender to deal with in the Western Conference.
