CJ McCollum Blasts Anthony Davis And Los Angeles Lakers During Game Against The Warriors

2 Min Read

CJ McCollum had a lot of fun on Wednesday night at the expense of the Los Angeles Lakers. Like the rest of us, the Portland Trail Blazers guard spent the night watching the play-in games, and he had a blast with the second match.

The Golden State Warriors visited the Lakers in a highly-anticipated matchup that saw the Dubs taking care of business in the first half. That opened the door for CJ to troll the Lakers, who beat his Blazers in the 2020 NBA playoffs.

He was already sending jabs at the Lakers and Warriors for playing in the play-in tournament, which gives them two extra games than the rest of the NBA.

“I ain’t gonna lie it’s kindve cool watching these play-in games when you at the crib chillin. . These boys gonna be tired as hell this weekend. I know the feeling.”

When Anthony Davis had 5 points after a poor first-half performance, CJ went after the Brow and tweeted:

“I need some of that Lobos AD and them had last night .”

This wasn’t the only thing he said last night. He also called out LeBron James for overselling a Draymond Green foul, saying he was seeing three rims when he sank the game-winning 3-pointer.

Of course, this sparked a lot of reactions. The Lakers Nation attacked CJ, reminding him what team eliminated his squad in the Orlando bubble. On the other hand, the rest of the fans can’t stop laughing with his comments.

The Lakers are now headed to Phoenix to face the Suns in the first round of the postseason. The Blazers will meet Nikola Jokic and his Denver Nuggets trying to ruin the MVP candidate’s good season.

If Portland and Los Angeles win their respective series, they will meet in the second round and CJ will have the chance to tell all of this to the Lakers in person.
