LaMarcus Aldridge surprised the NBA world with his sudden retirement a couple of weeks after signing with the Brooklyn Nets and make the team a powerhouse in the East. The player announced he played his last game with an irregular heartbeat, which prompted him to call it a career.
This came as a total shock for the entire NBA community and his colleagues made sure to pay respect to the former player. He spent 15 years in the league shared between the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, and Brooklyn Nets, always giving his best to help his teams.

Aldridge was just starting a new chapter with the Brooklyn Nets, the favorite team to win the East this season and even the NBA championship. He found himself in a very good position to win a championship but life had different plans for him. He leaves a big mark in the league and all the love he received from fellow players is the perfect example of that.
