Recruiting Expert On Bronny James’ Career Expectations: “I Expect James To Develop Into A Quality High Major Player.”

3 Min Read

Bronny James is one of the most hyped young players in the world of basketball right now, and he’s ready to take the world by storm in the future. Right now he’s inactive due to a season-ending injury he picked up a couple of weeks ago but that hasn’t changed the perspective people have about him.

He’s one of the best 25 prospects for the 2023 class and people have high expectations for him, especially knowing that he’s the son of LeBron James, one of the best players in NBA history. Bronny could even play with his father in the NBA but after that, he will have to create his own legacy. One recruiting expert recently broke down how big he can get in the next years, explaining all the things he will have to figure out before leaving the shadow of his father.

Via Jerry Meyer of 247 Sports:

“It is tough to judge how a player at Bronny James’ age is ultimately going to end up, but that is the projection business that we are in,” he said.

“I expect James to develop into a quality high major player. And with his lineage, there is a strong reason to believe that he will have a blossoming physically and in his game in the upcoming years.

“What will be interesting to observe is how he deals with the intense pressure and scrutiny from being the son of LeBron James. How he deals with that circumstance will have much to do with how good he becomes. He will have to go through a tough process of defining and becoming who he is as his own individual.”

LeBron recently said he would love to play alongside Bronny in the NBA and seeing the level he’s playing at right now, that is a very likely possibility for the King. Some say the Oklahoma City Thunder could have the biggest chance to land the father-son duo in a couple of years.

Bronny has a bright future ahead and he’s expected to do big things in the association. How is he going to fare once he arrives in the league? Time will tell.
