Shaquille O’Neal never misses an opportunity to roast his friend and TNT’s “Inside the NBA” co-host Charles Barkley and his ringless NBA career. That has been a recurrent joke between the pair and Shaq has always taken advantage of his four championships against none of Barkley.

Recently, he appeared on the All Things Covered podcast, where he talked about a variety of topics, including Rudy Gobert’s eyebrow-raising contract extension with the Utah Jazz and Shaq’s career overall. When he had the turn to talk about his championship, the Big Diesel revealed that he feels good about winning four NBA rings, which is more than Barkley did during his career.

“I’m just glad that I was able to get 4. Wanted to get 5, wanted to get 6, but 4 is pretty good. I got 4 more than Charles Barkley, that’s all I care about,” O’Neal expressed.

Shaq and Chuck have engaged in a very entertaining back and forth over the years. A day doesn’t go by without us watching them going against each other, making hilarious comments about one another and more. This doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon and the big man is taking advantage of every opportunity he has to diss Barkley.

Fax. Always attacking players nowadays and always talking about his accomplishments

Chuck is a donut boy so i hope you got 4 more than him

The more Shaq brings up his rings, the more insecure he sounds. Shaq knows he rode Kobe’s coattail and that Barkley never played with another superstar. Barkley also went up against MJ in the Finals (1993)

Shaq likes to flex the amount of rings he has on his good friend Charles Barkley!

One of the best rivalries in NBA history has transcended the pass of time and now it’s taking place on a TV studio.
