Mark Cuban On LeBron James And Michael Jordan: “When That Game’s On The Line, I’d Rather Have MJ At This Point.”

Mark Cuban has finally made a pick on who he’d prefer to have on his team between LeBron James and Michael Jordan. This question has been recurrent around the league in recent times and Cuban isn’t safe from it. A couple of weeks ago he was asked the same question, but he gave a very polite and persuasive answer.

Now people charged again and the man didn’t have more choice than respond to the question. LeBron has won his fourth NBA championship in the Orlando bubble and he’s getting closer to MJ in the GOAT debate, according to many people. As for Cuban, he would rather have Jordan with him instead of LeBron if both were in their prime. Talking with Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson, Cuban said (0:52 mark):

“Depends who else could I pick up. So, if it’s an expansion draft, I think Bron makes everybody on the team better, right? So he’s a good starting point,” he stated.

“But if I got a good squad that I can put together, I want Michael as my closer. Not that LeBron’s not a good closer, but Michael’s the best. When that game’s on the line, I’d rather have MJ at this point.”

MJ was really a great clutch shooter, but LeBron has also earned his stripes in that department. Like everything in this debate, it depends on what people want or what they expect to see from players but if Cuban had a pick to start a franchise right now, he would go with His Airness without thinking.
