Following his tragic death, everyone is trying to honor Kobe Bryant, his excellent NBA career and his greatness both on and off the floor. It’s not a secret that the Los Angeles Lakers legend is going to be badly missed by everyone in the league; fortunately, fans are starting a movement to immortalize his impact on the game he loved so deeply.

A Change.org petition started by user Nick M, asking the NBA to make the future Hall of Famer the new NBA logo. Kobe would replace Jerry West, another Lakers legend, in a move that would immortalize the five-time NBA champion.

“With the untimely and unexpected passing of Kobe Bryant please sign this petition in an attempt to make his memory last forever as the NBA Logo.,” Nick M. wrote in his petition.

Of course, this petition caught the attention of plenty of fans, who want to see their idol as the new logo of the association. At this moment, the petition has racked up over 190k signatures, and the numbers increase every minute. Fans all over social media are also asking for Kobe’s to be the new league’s logo.
