A Klutch Sports meet-up took place in Toronto recently, as LeBron James, Draymond Green, and Rich Paul all were seen in a picture together.

The picture was taken at an event promoting LeBron’s Lobos Tequila, a brand that Draymond is also invested in.

James and Green are on-court rivals, but their friendship has only grown stronger in recent years. James was present at Draymond’s wedding last summer and Green often uses his podcast to appreciate the greatness of LeBron. The bitter on-court rivals have become business partners and share the same agent in Rich Paul.

LeBron James And Draymond Green Have Been Battling For Years

Since 2015, the Warriors have been a constant source of pain for LeBron James. James has lost three NBA Finals to Golden State and barely stood a chance to win even one series out of their four consecutive Finals matchups.

The 2015 Finals saw both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love go down to injury, leaving LeBron alone to fend for himself and lose the series. The 2016 Finals saw LeBron and Kyrie Irving’s Cavaliers complete a miraculous 3-1 comeback before the Warriors signed Kevin Durant in the summer and guaranteed 2017 and 2018 Finals wins over LeBron and the Cavs.

James has a 9-10 head-to-head regular-season record against Draymond and a 10-17 playoff record. LBJ has averaged 25.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 6.2 assists in 19 regular games against Green. They’ve played each other 27 times in the playoffs, where James averages 30.9 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game.

With James bringing his all-time playoff series record against Draymond to 2-3 in the 2023 Playoffs, it’ll be interesting to see if the Warriors and Lakers match up again in 2024 to give James a chance to bring it to 3-3.
